Meet our Massage Therapist 

Rachel Bohrer was raised in the small community of Red Cloud, NE. She has been a licensed massage therapist since 2009 and been with the Avenue Clinic since October 2010.  Rachel attended Southeast Community College at the Beatrice, NE campus and earned her Associates degree in Business Administration.  She received her massage training at the Omaha School of Massage and Healthcare, where she graduated valedictorian.  Rachel then worked in a day spa in Lincoln, NE before coming to Avenue Chiropractic and Wellness Clinic.  Rachel has acquired continuring education on deep tissue massage and aromatherapy.  She performs swedish, deep tissue, aromatherapy, hot stone and prenatal massage. 

Recently the spa area at Avenue Chiropractic and Wellness Clinic has added a pregnancy massage table.  This table makes it possible for the mother-to-be to relax comfortably in a face down position.  Rachel believes in and promotes the most important benefits of massage; relief from muscle aches and pain, more restful sleep, increased relaxation and lessen depression

Meet our Aesthetician and Massage Therapist

 Originally from the Sandhills of Nebraska, Jay Iwanski, moved to Lincoln, NE to pursue an education in Cosmetology and later to Grand Island, NE for an addition to her education as an Aesthetician. In 2008, she moved to Columbus, NE along with her college sweetheart to start their careers. In 2009, they married near their hometown in Burwell, NE. After working at the clinic and seeing the benefits of Massage Therapy, Jay decided to return to school and aquired her Massage Therapy License in early 2012. 
Jay is currently our Aesthetician (skin care specialist) and Massage Therapist. She performs a variety of skin care treatments and skin care education for our patients. She can help you decide which facial or body wrap will be right for you and your needs. She also offers all types of bodily waxing procedures for male and female. Jay can help you with any skincare concerns that you might have.  She also performs swedish, prenatal, hot stone, deep tissue and some Reflexology massage.
